YES Full Circle, India is proud to showcase the #zerowastecircular model in one of our residential project in Noida. We enable the residents to become a #Zerowastecitizen by disrupting their perception on waste. Recently we set up a recycling park in the society, which has eco-benches and dustbins made from plastic caps and non recyclable MLP material collected from the society.
ZWC(Zero Waste Citizen) has introduced technology-driven source segregation of plastic waste in Varanasi, collaborating with giz India and Varanasi municipality. Segregated waste collection right from the generation point leads to less contamination and better resource recovery. We are targeting to collect through our tech platform around 4000 tons of plastic only through the source segregation method this financial year across our city projects in India.
We have launched FIRST ZERO WASTE PROJECT IN NODIA IN INDIA based on circular economy model.This is where we have literally started circular economy practices. On world environment day ,we planted trees and donated to residents tree guards made out of MLP plastic collected from same area of 137 sector NOIDA back to same area by converting into valuable product like tree guards. Reinforcing the concept of circular economy.
We, ZWC Solutions Private Limited in association with Bhagalpur Nagar Nigam has set up our first recycling bank in ward No 22. ZWC platform enabled recycling bank was inaugurated by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and other distinguished officials of Bhagalpur Nagar Nigam Municipality. This is our first step in the mission of making every citizen of Bhagalpur, a plastic waste-free Citizen. Bhagalpur will be the first city in India to have an app-enabled recycling bank for the formal pullback of plastic waste while enabling citizen engagement.
